1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the app.

2. App Availability

This app is currently available only to users in Canada and the United States. By using this app, you confirm that you are located in one of these countries and comply with all applicable local laws.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this app
  • Age verification may be required to ensure compliance with our 18+ policy
  • You must provide accurate, truthful information when creating your profile
  • You must have the legal capacity to form a binding contract
  • You must not be prohibited from using social networking, social discovery, or social connection services under applicable laws

4. Account Registration and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must provide a valid phone number for authentication
  • You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Impersonate others or provide inaccurate information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share explicit or inappropriate content
  • Use the app for commercial purposes
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Messaging and Communication

  • Initial message allowance is 3 messages per user per conversation
  • Pro subscribers have a message allowance of 12 messages per conversation
  • Additional messages can be purchased through in-app purchases
  • We reserve the right to monitor communications for safety
  • Message history is retained for safety and legal compliance

7. Analytics and App Performance

  • We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve user experience
  • We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and fix technical issues
  • Analytics data is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • You can review our data collection practices in our Privacy Policy

8. Advertising

  • Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob
  • Ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier
  • You can limit ad tracking in your device settings
  • Premium subscribers have an ad-free experience

9. In-App Purchases

  • All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
  • Purchase and subscription management is handled through RevenueCat
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies
  • Prices are subject to change
  • No refunds for consumed virtual items
  • Subscription billing and management is processed in accordance with RevenueCat's terms of service
  • By making purchases, you agree to the payment terms of both Apple and RevenueCat

10. Content Guidelines

  • Profile pictures must be of yourself and must not contain or depict any offensive content
  • You retain ownership of your content
  • You grant us license to use your content for app functionality
  • We reserve the right to remove inappropriate or offensive content

11. Third-Party Services

  • Our app integrates with Firebase (Google) for backend services, analytics, and crash reporting
  • RevenueCat is used for subscription and purchase management
  • Google AdMob is used for advertising services
  • Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies
  • We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services

12. Reporting and Blocking

  • Users can report inappropriate or offensive behavior
  • Users can block other users at any time
  • We reserve the right to investigate reported users
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts based on investigations

13. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

14. Intellectual Property

  • The app and its original content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
  • The Mantis image cropper is used under MIT license
  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

16. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

17. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your account at any time
  • You may delete your account at any time
  • All provisions of these Terms which should survive termination shall survive

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Brunswick, Canada.
